Working with students of varied age groups, coming from diverse topographies, economic and social backgrounds, and levels of exposure to the outer world, we continuously strive to create relevant/appropriate materials. We put an effort into making them place-based, language and age-specific.
In this section, we will be sharing resources that might be useful to more educators, parents and children.
Nature Bingo
Age Group- (10 years & above)
Nature Bingos are easy to connect with the rest of Nature activities for young children and beginner-level nature enthusiasts. The section will have materials based on various themes and in different languages.
Bird Posters
Age Group- (8 years & above)
Bird Posters assist you in birding and identify the birds based on the topography/ bio-regions. Check the section for posters of regions and in multiple languages.
Life in the mountains – A card game
Age Group: (12 years & above)
The game introduces you to life and its challenges in the mountains through simple scenarios and body movements. We curated the game for the Mountains of Life Festival organised by Azim Premji University. It primarily intended to introduce life and hardships in the mountains to the participants while encouraging an action-oriented leadership quality in them.
Communications in Nature / Wild
Age Group- (10 years & above)
A video-based module through which the students are shown a few short films or videos for guided rounds of discussions, analysis and interpretation as learning.
